Maggie, Gracie, Phoebe & Georgia

 Image

Maggie is our princess.  A full blooded chocolate poodle from Colorado, she has taken seriously her job of rearing pups and teaching them to stay within the property limits.  She is a perfect lady and expects her puppy charges to behave in a gentile and civilized manner.

Two beautiful girls are waiting for their time to be mothers.  Both F2 Golden doodles, Gracie and Phoebe have strong retriever characteristics and will give us striking  pups with even more hypoallergenic qualities when they are bred next spring to standard poodles.

Gracie and Phoebe, who were named for native birds of New Mexico, are lively and playful at just 4 months old.  Gracie has a toasty golden smoothe coat with a blonde chest ruff.  She is very affectionate and easy to train.  Phoebe's coat is more red and also smoothe.  She loves her obedience training and has a keen sense for trackings.

We at Taos Dood Ranch have a stunning new addition to our family.  This coal black beauty comes to us from Houston.  We have named her Georgia after New Mexico's own Georgia Okeefe.  Like her namesake she is slender, elegant and all in black from head to toe.  In about a year, this Sweet Georgia Black and Rio will have pups.

Since Georgia carries the white gene as well as the black gene, we hope to have blond puppies and black ones.  Look for our black Golden Doodles because they will be stunning.  Usually a golden doodle and a black poodle will have pups with shiny, wavy black coats with dark auburn highlights.
